I’m putting the extensive communication, research and investigative skills gained during 25 years as a professional journalist to great use as a Realtor®. A proactive problem-solver who’s used to meeting or exceeding deadlines, I strive to make the home-buying/selling process as seamless as possible for my clients. I understand the importance of asking questions, am focused on finding answers and will seek out every available resource in the process. I believe that in this business, being a clear communicator is essential. Consequently, my clients are confident they can call on me whenever they need assistance.
A transplanted Arkansan, I feel right at home here in the Cascades, where there’s a great appreciation for the outdoors and the many diverse recreational opportunities the area provides. Like many of my neighbors, I’m a horse owner and avid trail rider. That love of horses and the outdoors has proven invaluable in helping clients find the ideal rural, resort and horse properties.
In November 2006, I received my GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor Institute). I also was awarded a 2006 RE/MAX Executive Club membership for outstanding sales performance. In April 2009, I received my Certified Distressed Property Expert designation.
I’m active in the Central Oregon Association of Realtors®’ Communications Committee and am an Advisory Committee member for The Nature of Words Literary Festival in Bend. I also spent four years as an active member of the of the Assistance League of Bend (serving on the Resource Development, Public Relations, Philanthropy & Membership committees), which provides new clothing for schoolkids in need and oversees a broad range of other community-oriented assistance projects. I’m also an avid supporter of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, a horse-rescue and at-risk youth outreach facility based in Tumalo.
