Tumalo, Oregon Real Estate Market Snapshot for June 2010

In June, the Tumalo real estate market shifted gears and experienced a noticeable spike in new listings –- from 71 in May to 91 in June. That’s similar to the spike in June 2009 -– when new listings hit a two-year high of 104. The recent spike also affected the overall inventory level (since there were so many more new listings than sales), upping it from 14.2 months in May to 17.6 months in June. That’s still infinitely better than the inventory level last June (38 months!). Continue reading →

Sisters Oregon Market Report for June 2010

There wasn’t a great deal of difference between the. overall Sisters real estate market in June 2010 compared to June 2009. The increase in Active listings (from 196 in May 2010 to 216 in June 2010) echoed a similar increase last year, as does the impressive increase in sales (from seven in May 2010 to 16 in June 2010). Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Preview

So the famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is tomorrow (from 9:30 am-5 pm), but the town is already hoppin’.

This year (the 35th!), more than 1,300 quilts from around the world will be displayed throughout town (both inside and out–it’s really quite a sight), and many local businesses will be hosting special quilt-related exhibits (here’s a map showing just how many activities are scheduled). Homebuyer Tax Credit Closing Deadline Extended
